Healthcare leaders, including those in imaging, must navigate a complex environment of change and regulations to deliver high-quality, cost-effective care while addressing employee satisfaction and retention. In the wake of The Great Resignation, leaders are focusing on enhancing team commitment and reducing burnout. Psychological Capital (PsyCap)—comprising hope, optimism, resiliency, and self-efficacy—has been linked to improved job satisfaction, performance, and organizational commitment. This presentation will define PsyCap, review research on its benefits, and offer interventions to boost PsyCap competence in healthcare leaders.
