Managing the lifecycle of medical equipment goes well beyond the scheduled and corrective maintenance responsibilities of the HTM department. It also includes defining and managing a strategic approach to anticipating when and how medical equipment will be replaced when it no longer meets the clinical and organizational requirements of the health system. Attendees will leave this workshop with a “starter pack” including MS Excel tools to forecast and prioritize replacement needs. Attendees are encouraged (but not required) to bring their laptops and inventory data to actively participate in building tools.
