In this super session, the participant will learn about the growing need for medical equipment cybersecurity. Discussion will include the terms used by, and scope overlap between information technology, information security and clinical engineering. Best practices around network and medical equipment security will also be discussed. The presentation will include an introduction to several resources to help a department from standards and white papers to federal government assistance.
